Good atmosphere among the Dragons in the Training Camp in Zenica

Preparations for the „A“ national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued this afternoon in Zenica. As planned, a training session was held this evening at the Training Camp of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All players are healthy and eager to work.

The qualifying match for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Estonia will be played at the 'Bilino Polje' stadium in Zenica on September 6.

Before the training, national team players Vedad Ibišević, Senad Lulić and Ervin Zukanović shared their impressions of the preparations and expectations with journalists.

Ibišević said they are satisfied with the first part of the preparations.

- Now that the match is approaching, it is good that we came here, to get serious ahead of this match which is very important for the start of the qualifiers. We all know what happened in the previous qualifiers, so the goal is clear to everyone, we want to win and take the opponent as seriously as possible – said Ibišević.

Lulić thinks similarly:

- We all know how we started the previous qualifiers, I think that must not happen now and the most important thing is to start these qualifiers with a win. As for the effort on the field and fighting spirit, that should be normal when playing for your country. We came here to prepare in the best way, we have our peace here. Some think Estonia is an easy opponent, but that is not the case, there are no easy games in football today and everyone knows how to play. If we give our maximum, each of us individually, we should achieve a victory.

Ervin Zukanović also pointed out that there was plenty of time for preparations, and the first part in Sarajevo went well.

- As always, the atmosphere in the team is good, I can only confirm that we have learned some lessons from the previous qualifiers and we will not let ourselves lose points at home so easily. We need to start very seriously, we need to open the first match with three points and I hope we will succeed in that – said Zukanović.
