Received 3,100 KM: Citizens Paid for the Master's Thesis of the New President of the Competition Council

The Council of Ministers of BiH, in the regular rotation procedure, made a Decision on the appointment of Arijana Regoda-Dražić as the President of the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a one-year term, for the period from October 1, 2015, to September 30, 2016, writes the Patria News Agency.

We remind you that at the beginning of the year, the Council of Ministers of BiH postponed the consideration of the information from the Competition Council of BiH concerning a report of abuse of position against Maida Čampara, the wife of state prosecutor Dubravko Čampara and niece of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić (SDA), who had been presenting herself as the President of the Competition Council since November last year.

Maida Čampara eventually informed herself that she would no longer act as president "due to the report and negative media campaign." However, the new president of the Competition Council, Arijana Regoda-Dražić, had also previously made headlines for negative reasons.

Thus, in 2013, it was established that large funds were spent in the Competition Council of BiH – 21,957 KM for doctoral and master's theses, professional development, training, seminars, as well as foreign language courses.

The largest individual amounts for master's theses at the time were received by expert advisors Lejla Šahović – Karić with 4,000 KM and Arijana Regoda - Dražić with 3,100 KM.
