(Patria) - The Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Darko Ćulum met yesterday with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Bratislav Gašić, in Belgrade.
They discussed the continuation of cooperation in the area of combating illegal migration, human trafficking, and organized crime.
Gašić emphasized the importance of joint efforts against illegal migration, especially considering that the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as transit countries, are under pressure from mass migrations, and added that the cooperation of competent services is key to preserving the security of citizens of both countries.
Ćulum agreed with Gašić's opinion that the fight against illegal migration is a common issue for all countries on the transit route, and expressed his belief that the successful cooperation so far will be further improved in the future.
