Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies Enes Karić visited the OHR: Security situation in BiH discussed

(Patria) - Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Enes Karić met with Deputy High Representative in BiH Mirko Zambelli at the OHR.

Karić informed Zambelli about the legal responsibilities of the Directorate. He particularly emphasized the tasks carried out within the scope of security for VIP persons and diplomatic-consular representations, as well as the constant and continuous strengthening of communication and cooperation with both law enforcement agencies in BiH and international partners, which is realized through international operational police cooperation (INTERPOL, EUROPOL, and SELEC).

During the meeting, the security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed, with a special emphasis on the current responsibilities of the Directorate. Director Karić expressed gratitude to the OHR for supporting the work of the Directorate, as well as other agencies and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and highlighted the importance of continuing and improving cooperation.

Zambelli expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH to date, and emphasized the readiness of the OHR in BiH, in accordance with its mission, to continue providing support in preserving a secure environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He also thanked Director Karić for the trust shown, the very constructive conversation, and openness to cooperation, and confirmed the OHR's readiness to continue supporting the Directorate.
