DF: Government of HNC must explain whether members of the HNC MUP are removing state flags on the orders of HDZ

(Patria) - The Democratic Front views the decision of Elektroprivreda HZHB to remove the flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Čapljina with police assistance as the implementation of political decisions of the HDZ, whereby this party once again demonstrates its undisguised and hostile attitude towards the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It has long been known that the aforementioned power company, which is owned by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is essentially under the absolute control of the HDZ, and its management demonstrated its political ambitions with the recent attempt to seize land from Elektroprivreda BiH in Mostar.

However, what is additionally concerning is the silence of the authorities in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton regarding the assistance of the Čapljina police in removing state symbols.

Instead of preventing the degradation of state symbols, the HNC MUP has assumed the role of assistant, from which it can be concluded that the HDZ controls not only the power company but also the police of the HNC, which should by no means be the case.

Therefore, we call on the HNC MUP to clarify to the public why their members found themselves in the role of assistants in humiliating state symbols, and we call on the Government of the HNC to urgently comment on the same.

We also call on the representatives of the Troika at the level of the Federation of BiH, as well as the cantonal coalition SDA-SDP, to finally react.

Because while in the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Government of the HNC we witness harmonious relations with the HDZ, this party is settling scores with the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its symbols in areas where it has absolute power.
