DF Sarajevo: The Trojka destroyed the season on Bjelašnica

(Patria) - On Bjelašnica, during the peak of the winter tourist season, some slopes are closed, and the six-seater chairlift, which is key to the ski resort, is not working, and according to the information we have, it will not be operational until the end of the season, the Democratic Front (DF) Sarajevo announced today.

"A year ago, the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, with the votes of the Trojka representatives, approved a multi-million credit debt for ZOI ‘84, and today, due to the inaction and dilettantish attitude of the Trojka, the winter season is bankrupt.

On one hand, the cantonal government has not shown the ability to clear snow from the city streets in Sarajevo, and on the other hand, the snow on the ski slopes, where it belongs, has not helped the management of ZOI ‘84 to utilize the winter season and prepare everything for skiers on Bjelašnica.

This winter, the ruling Trojka has shown us that they can disable both the city and the mountain due to 40 centimeters of snow, even though the Canton spent 50 million KM on Bjelašnica," stated DF Sarajevo.
