Detention for Desnica Radivojević Lifted

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Desnica Radivojević and Vahid Jašarević, arrested as part of the Farmer operation, have had their detention lifted at the proposal of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, confirmed the spokesperson for the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, for Patria. Furthermore, at the request of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, restrictive measures have been imposed on them.

"Ivica Mladina and Refik Džafić, arrested in the same operation, will remain in detention for another two months due to the risk of influencing witnesses, concealing evidence, and the risk of re-offending," Bavčić stated, adding that Mladina's detention was extended due to the risk of flight.

We remind you that the former Minister of Spatial Planning of the Federation of FBiH, Desnica Radivojević, is accused of paying five thousand KM from the budget to Agan Valentić for a donated tractor, which ultimately ended up on his property. The disputed tractor was not found on his property but was with his neighbor.

The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office accuses the commission of the Government of FBiH of not awarding donations, but rather concluding fictitious contracts, thereby damaging the budget.

Additionally, restrictive measures were previously proposed for the suspects Mehmed Nikišić, Abdulah Tutmić, Vahid Jašarević, Husejin Selimović, and Enver Smajić.
