(Patria) - At the proposal of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo ordered one-month detention for the suspect Nermin Demirović, former director of Sarajevo Forests.
Detention was ordered due to the risk of flight and the risk that the suspect, if at liberty, could influence witnesses, conceal evidence, and obstruct the investigation, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office announced.
We remind that Demirović is suspected in the Incitat operation. In this case, which relates to systemic corruption in the construction sector and money laundering, Ibro Berilo, Nađa Milišić, Adis Mulaosmanović (Lok-pil d.o.o.), and Edina Džigal were also arrested.
