Prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić's Denial

(Patria) - Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office Ćazim Hasanspahić reacted with a denial to the article "Prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić hid a war crimes case against Dragan Čović in his drawer for ten years", which the Novinska agencija Patria (NAP) took over this morning from the portal Istraga.ba.

"Regarding the published article on the Istraga.ba portal, which was also published on the Slobodna Bosna, Patria, and Faktor portals, under the title 'After being transferred to another department, it was determined: Prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić hid a war crimes case against Dragan Čović in his drawer for ten years', I emphasize that the information stated is incorrect, and for the sake of truthfully informing the public, I deny your article as inaccurate.

I emphasize that I was never in charge of a war crimes case against Dragan Čović, and I consider the information in the article itself to be arbitrary and stated with the aforementioned goal aimed at discrediting my person.

I expect the media to report responsibly, with fact-checking and respect for the basic principles of professional journalism. I ask you to publish this denial.
