ZDK Government Delegation in Olovo: Support for Key Infrastructure Projects

(Patria) - A delegation of the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK), consisting of Prime Minister Nezir Pivić and ministers Mirza Mušija and Jasmin Čajić, paid a working visit to the municipality of Olovo today.

On that occasion, they met with the municipal mayor Đemal Memagić and his associates.

The visit was also attended by Fahrudin Čolaković, a representative in the ZDK Assembly and a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, discussions were held on cooperation between the two levels of government and joint projects of importance for the citizens of the municipality of Olovo.

The delegation visited the newly built kindergarten, whose total investment value is 1.2 million convertible marks. The ZDK Government participated in the implementation of this project with 550,000 KM.



The kindergarten has a capacity for 60 children and is equipped in accordance with all standards for a safe and quality stay for the youngest. It is planned that the facility will be put into operation this autumn.

Also, the delegation visited the old school in the settlement of Olovske Luke, where construction of a new school building will soon begin. The works will be carried out in phases, and the ZDK Government has already approved funds in the amount of 350,000 KM for the first phase.

In the local community of Solun, the construction site of a new modern swimming pool with accompanying facilities was also visited. The pool is located in the center of the settlement and is already partially operational, although the works have not yet been fully completed.

What remains is the construction of canopies, sanitary facilities, showers, and other auxiliary facilities. The ZDK Government has allocated 550,000 KM for this project.
