Davis Cup team ready for Poles: Džumhur will know tomorrow if he can play

The Davis Cup teams of Poland and Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered yesterday and held a press conference today at the Zenica Arena.

The Polish team consisting of Hubert Hurkacz, Kamil Majchrzak, Radoslaw Szymanik, Lukasz Kubot, and Marcin Matkowski will represent Poland, and today they stated that they expect victory.

Szymanik also spoke about our players:

- It is always difficult to play away, so we expect a tough match. The most well-known players are Bašić and Džumhur, and Majchrzak has already played against Džumhur - says Szymanik.

Tomislav Brkić, Nerman Fetić, Mirza Bašić, and Damir Džumhur are our Davis Cup representatives.

- I am not 100% ready because I have a minor injury. I have been preparing in the days prior and I am physically ready. Tomorrow I will know if I will definitely play or not. Also, the surface suits us - stated Damir Džumhur at the press conference.

The first two singles matches will be played on Friday, February 3, starting at 2 PM, the doubles match is scheduled for Saturday at 2 PM, and on Sunday at 1 PM the remaining singles matches. The exact schedule will be known after the draw, which is scheduled for Thursday, February 2.
