Consent Given: Humanitarian Flight from Stockholm Will Be Realized

(Patria) - The BiH Ministry of Security has given consent for a humanitarian flight from Stockholm to Sarajevo, which should carry 70 people, it was confirmed to Patria by the Border Police.

We remind you that, given the increased number of people from 54 to 70, additional consultation with the Crisis Staffs was requested.

The Border Police say that they were asked by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to have about 70 BiH citizens from Sweden return to BiH on the same flight in the afternoon.

Minister Fahrudin Radončić requested this from the crisis staffs of the Federation and Canton Sarajevo, and approval has now been given for the flight to be realized.

If everything goes according to plan, the flight will be realized at 7 PM. The BiH Border Police will conduct border checks in accordance with the law, after which the passengers will be handed over to sanitary inspectors, who will then take measures within their jurisdiction.

A plane with 144 passengers, mostly foreign diplomats from BiH and other countries, departed from Sarajevo Airport for Sweden today.
