The Siemens AG hall in Vienna was too small to accommodate everyone who wanted to watch the hilarious comedy "Ja, mahaluša" by author Indira Kučuk Sorguč last night, writes the news agency Patria.
Fantastic Nela Đenisijević, in the role of the most famous "mahaluša" (gossiper), conveyed a whiff of Sarajevo's mahala and mahalanje (gossiping) to the Viennese residents during the performance. The thunderous applause at the end of the play, with which Nela Đenisijević, her partner in the play Nenad Tešić, and the author Indira Kučuk Sorguč were greeted on stage, proved her success.
The play was performed in the organization of the Association "Plan BiH" Austria.
