Official confirmation arrived at the FA/FS BiH today that Dario Dumić can play for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
The FIFA Players' Status Committee accepted the request of Dumić and the FA/FS BiH for a change of sporting nationality, so the defensive player of Dutch NEC Nijmegen is now eligible to play for our national team.
Dumić was born on January 30, 1992, in Sarajevo, and besides NEC Nijmegen, he was a member of England's Norwich City and Denmark's Brondby.
Dumić previously told BiH media that it is his great wish to play for BiH.
- I decided a long time ago and I am waiting, I will wait and hope to get the chance to play for BiH. No one can convince me otherwise - Dumić is decisive, who has a tattoo on his body dedicated to his homeland BiH which reads “I cannot hate it, as much as I love it”.
