Draw for Women's Basketball World Cup Qualifiers Today, BiH in Fourth Pot

(Patria) - The women's basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will find out the names of their opponents in the qualifiers for next year's World Cup in Australia today.

The top 16 teams in the world will be divided into four groups, or tournaments. The top three teams from each tournament will qualify for the World Cup. The tournaments will be held in Belgrade, Washington, and Osaka.

The BiH team is placed in the last, fourth pot. Two European teams cannot be in the same group.

First pot: USA, France, Australia, Canada
Second pot: Belgium, China, Japan, Serbia
Third pot: Belarus, Russia, Brazil, Nigeria
Fourth pot: Puerto Rico, South Korea, BiH, Mali

Tomorrow's draw will be held in Geneva at 11:30 AM.

The qualifying matches will be played in February next year.
