Today, an attempt to agree on the appointment of the BiH delegation to the PACE

(Patria) - Today, the members of the Collegium of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold their second session.

The agenda of the session provides for agreeing on the criteria for electing members of the permanent delegations of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

One of the items on the session's agenda is the consideration of a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH regarding the appointment of the Parliamentary Delegation of BiH to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
We remind you that the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH had the task of forming a delegation to the PACE, but since there is no agreement on the formation of the Council of Ministers, SNSD has not submitted the names of its proposals for commissions.

The Parliamentary Assembly of BiH should establish the BiH delegation for the June session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, following the decision of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe to give BiH a chance to correct its oversight, as the BiH delegation was not appointed on time.

The June session is particularly important because, after ten years, a new Secretary General of the Council of Europe will be elected, as well as judges of the European Court of Human Rights, and the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe will be celebrated.

The Collegium will also consider a letter from the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which he requested to address the representatives and delegates of the BiH Parliament.
