Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina marked in Mostar, Bihać, Tuzla, Zenica...

(Patria) - In Tuzla, the celebration of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina began early this morning. City and cantonal authorities laid wreaths and flowers at memorials to BiH defenders in the war from 1992 to 1995, civilian victims of war, and Partisan liberators in World War II.

Messages were sent that for Bosnia and Herzegovina today, the most important thing is to keep it on the path towards the European Union, and that it is important to achieve full equality of all constituent peoples and other citizens, and to preserve sovereignty and territorial integrity for a better future of our country.

In Mostar as well, numerous delegations laid flowers at the Mostar martyrs' cemeteries, Liska Park, and the Partisan Cemetery.

Delegations of the City of Bihać, the Assembly and Government of the Una-Sana Canton laid flowers today at graves and cemeteries in Bihać. Under the name "In honor of the homeland", a ceremonial academy will be organized at the Cultural Center. Ceremonial academies have also been organized in other cities and municipalities of the Una-Sana Canton, as well as other activities on the occasion of Statehood Day.

The Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also being marked at the remains of the Royal City of Bobovac. This former capital city of the Bosnian kings from the Kotromanić dynasty symbolizes a rich tradition and history. The celebration of Statehood Day at Bobovac provides a unique opportunity to jointly pay tribute to our country and its identity, and the central event will be held at the Bobovac fortress.
