If the Austrian flag had burned, would it then be a coup d'état?

I am very interested in what Mr. Inzko's stance would be if, by chance, the Austrian flag had burned instead of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian one – said Ale Hošić, president of the Association of War Invalids of the Federation of BiH, for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Hošić's comment came after Valentin Inzko, the High Representative of the international community in BiH, stated that the burning of government institution buildings during citizen protests in FBiH was not a coup d'état, although numerous political parties in the country want to present it as such.

- I do not agree with Mr. Inzko. It is quite clear that on the first Friday during the demonstrations in Sarajevo, terrorism with elements of a coup d'état was committed. The flag – a symbol of the country's statehood – was attacked. I assume that if what happened in BiH had happened in any European country, it would have been declared a coup d'état the same day – says Hošić. He added that he supports the citizens' initiative for changes, but that the burning and destruction of state property was very difficult for him as a patriot of this country.
