Guardians of Bosnia on the shutdown of RTV FBiH signal: We most strongly condemn the daily attacks on the media by the "Troika" regime!

(Patria) - The Patriotic Association and the all-people's platform Guardians of Bosnia most strongly condemn the daily attacks on the media by the "Troika" regime.

They issued a public statement regarding today's shutdown of the RTV Federation of BiH signal.

"We remind that in the previous aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, pressure on the media and the suppression of freedom of speech preceded the violence that culminated in the shelling of transmitters, attacks on media buildings, and even the murder of journalists by those who today, due to the geopolitical interests of neighboring countries, are trying to silence the voice of free media.

It is important to say that the bloody genocide against the Bosnian people did not succeed in extinguishing freedom of speech, nor will the "Troika" regime, which has subordinated itself to the chauvinistic demands dictated by HDZ BiH in the Federation of BiH, succeed in its attempts to silence the truth. This practice, introduced by the "Troika" government, must be stopped immediately.

It is certainly important to know that the recent attacks on media and journalists by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, have encouraged such behavior by the "Troika" regime, through which he has been profiling himself as an autocratic politician for some time.

Guardians of Bosnia call on the "Troika" regime to immediately cease such practices because no one in the history of Bosnia has succeeded, nor will they succeed, in extinguishing the freedom-loving spirit and courage of the Bosnian people in their desire to speak the truth and be guided by the principles of truth.

Finally, we tell everyone who wants to extinguish freedom of speech in BiH that truth and freedom are the highest ideals of our people, because truth and freedom are woven into the very foundations of Bosnia," stated Guardians of Bosnia.
