(Patria) - Darko Ćulum, now former director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), told Nezavisne novine that he is done with SIPA, despite the fact that he was not dismissed today at the extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- I submitted a personal request for dismissal. That means I am resigning. They can accept it or not.
They did not dismiss me because the Serb representatives in the Council of Ministers did not want to appoint an acting director. That is probably the reason. Otherwise, a personal request for resignation can no longer be discussed - said Ćulum.
When asked if this means he is no longer going to SIPA, he replied that he is not.
- There is nothing else, I submitted a personal request, I asked to be dismissed - said Ćulum.
Asked when he starts working at the RS Ministry of Interior, he stated that he expects a decision today or tomorrow.
- For now, I have been offered the position of advisor to the director, so I will probably be there - added Ćulum.
