Ahead of the preparations for the major Summit on the Western Balkans, initiated by Angela Merkel, it was announced that football will also be played on August 27 in Vienna, reports the Patria News Agency.
On the field, as announced, Serbian and Albanian Prime Ministers Aleksandar Vučić and Edi Rama, Kosovo's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hashim Thaçi, Head of Montenegrin Diplomacy Igor Lukšić, his Macedonian counterpart Nikola Poposki, BiH Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak, Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati, Kosovo's Minister of Economy Arben Ahmetaj, as well as the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Process Goran Svilanović will take the field together, writes Mondo.
They will all play together on the "Future EU" team.
In the opposing "EU" team, in a match to be refereed by European Commissioner Johannes Hahn, will play, among others, Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar, as well as the Head of Austrian Diplomacy Sebastian Kurz.
The upcoming Summit will be held in Vienna as a continuation of the Berlin Process, which was initiated last year by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
