Čović can no longer be a legitimate interlocutor for pro-Bosniak parties

Emir Suljagić, coordinator of the Coalition First of March, in an interview with the BH news agency Patria, commented on the latest statements by Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, on how the division of BiH is the only objective possibility for BiH to survive. Suljagić said that the only instrument in the fight against this is a joint list.

- The math is such that for all pro-Bosniak parties, staying outside a joint list is a crime against the people and the state. I cannot understand how any of those people, who have made such decisions in the past 20 years, can sleep peacefully if all these parties go to the people in RS individually. This is a way to deal with both Dodik and separatism. When you live in RS, March First is the cause of all problems. The solution to all problems is the elimination of the Coalition First of March, as SDS requested – says Suljagić.

He also touched upon Dragan Čović, leader of HDZ BiH, and said that he is too accommodating to Dodik and that because of this, he can no longer be an equally legitimate interlocutor for the representatives of pro-Bosniak parties.

- Especially not when we talk about the Law on Residence. He wanted to return it to the regular procedure, but he had a conversation with Dodik and then said that it should be adopted as soon as possible – added Suljagić.

He further says that this Law will not be adopted, because a majority will be found to reject it, and they will not allow it to be an instrument for ethnic cleansing.

- Several people are not attending sessions of the House of Peoples for health reasons. As long as this is on the agenda, the people who do not attend the sessions of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH have our full support – added Suljagić, adding that whoever is not on the joint list will not exist in the next elections.

- The government cannot be formed without the representatives of returnees to RS. This will be the greatest success after civic activism after Dayton. That is why it is a problem; SNSD deputies in the House of Peoples say that Suljagić is irrational to foreigners.

Suljagić also points out that no part of the system is sufficiently concerned about returnees to RS.

- What we are doing is a very difficult and arduous job. We do not agree to that, I am speaking on behalf of all people. We consider every clod of this earth to be ours. If there were such people among those who represent the Bosniak will, I doubt anyone dares to announce it – said Suljagić, emphasizing that citizens of non-Serb nationality in RS will mark the Independence Day of our country very normally and publicly.
