The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's 12th regular session held in Sarajevo accepted the invitation of the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, addressed to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, to participate in the summit of leaders in the fight against ISIL and violent extremism, which will be held in New York on September 29, reports the Patria news agency.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the invitation of the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, addressed to Čović, to participate in the Meeting of World Leaders on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment: A Commitment to Action (UN-Women), which will be held in New York on September 27.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, addressed to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for an official visit to the Republic of Turkey at the end of 2015.
Agreements and decisions
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Decision on accepting the agreement and designating the signatory for the
Agreement on the Establishment of the Western Balkan Fund.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina gave approval for the conclusion of:
-Memorandum of Cooperation in the Field of Youth between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic,
-Agreement on the Implementation of a Common Platform for Data Management for the Development of a Regional Early Warning and Risk Analysis System „Border Guard“.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina decided to send invitations to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015, it was announced from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
