Čović and HNS as always: Dismissal of the FBiH Crisis Headquarters is a political vendetta!

(Patria) - How strong politicisation is in every segment of BiH is best evidenced by the statement of the non-governmental association HNS. Even in these extremely difficult conditions, Dragan Čović, the leader of HDZ, continues with the old practice of blackmail and claims that he is the only one in charge. They claim the dismissal of the Crisis Headquarters was done at the cost of human lives, while the obstruction of the procurement of medical equipment was not!

The Croatian National Assembly of BiH demands an urgent amendment to the Decision of the Government of the Federation of BiH which appointed a new composition of the Crisis Headquarters of the Federal Civil Administration.

"By a unilateral decision, without the knowledge of all competent institutions and without prior notice and consultations with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance and the Office for Legislation, Bosniak political representatives arbitrarily made a decision in the midst of a crisis that has completely preoccupied our society, at the cost of protecting the lives of the inhabitants of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the statement reads.

They believe that the proven incompetence of the responsible officials who declared the dissolution of the Crisis Headquarters, which the entire region has witnessed in recent days, as well as moral and social irresponsibility and personal non-compliance with the instructions issued to the residents of BiH, is yet another addition to political behaviour that, at a time when stability and cooperation are imperative, seriously undermines the successful management of the current epidemiological situation.

"The Croatian National Assembly warns Bosniak officials that this is not the time for unilateral moves, nor for making arbitrary decisions that will result in the direct endangerment of the lives of all peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina during this crisis. Transferring competencies when making key decisions, as in this case, we consider unacceptable behaviour. Respecting the Constitution, system and legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Croatian National Assembly appeals and calls on the competent authorities to make conscious and responsible decisions in these difficult moments for all inhabitants of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the statement reads.

It is interesting that they did not address the public dissatisfaction due to the inaction of the Crisis Headquarters.
