Čolpa: We will not pardon virus profiteers

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - We will not pardon profiteers on the virus, said in a statement to Patria the Member of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament and President of the Civic Alliance Nihad Čolpa regarding the initiative of 20 representatives for an urgent session concerning potential irregularities in public procurement during the current crisis situation.

"Holding an urgent session of the FBiH Parliament, after scandalous procurements during the state of emergency, is a matter of moral and political responsibility of all representatives. The FBiH is at the very beginning of spending loan funds, and we already have numerous scandals. What would happen later if we don't react now? Therefore, I believe that burying our heads in the sand in the face of such arrogant behavior would mean that we have agreed to forgive the wrongdoings of those who want to achieve enormous personal gain during the biggest economic crisis. Hence, I absolutely support the justified and fact-based request of 20 representatives for an urgent session of the FBiH Parliament," Čolpa stated.

We remind you that 20 representatives requested an urgent session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament due to the procurement of 100 ventilators from China and all the malversations related to this procurement.
