(Patria) - The Mostar Civil Protection Service has called on competent services to increase monitoring and take preventive measures due to possible flash floods in the next two days.
"The current state of watercourses in the City of Mostar is stable and is under constant monitoring, and in case of deterioration or potential threats of floods to the population and material assets, we will inform you in a timely manner," stated the Civil Protection.
The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute stated that heavy rainfall, locally intense, is expected tomorrow and the day after tomorrow in the Neretva and Cetina river basins, which may lead to flash floods.
Due to heavy rainfall and strong winds expected in the next two days, an orange warning has been issued for most of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
