CEC did not certify their applications: Our Party, SDS, Force of the People and BPS cannot participate in the General Elections until they pay fines

(Patria) - The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not certify the applications of Our Party, SDS, Force of the People and BPS at today's session because they did not pay previously imposed monetary fines.

The CEC of Bosnia and Herzegovina gave these parties a deadline for paying the fines, which is a prerequisite for certifying their participation in the 2026 General Elections.

In addition, Force of the People and BPS did not meet the conditions for participating in the elections because they did not submit the minimum number of valid signatures of support.

The General Elections are held on Sunday, October 4, for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska and ten cantonal assemblies.
