Four young Germans survived a lightning strike on Saturday while they were in an inflatable boat near Kali on the island of Ugljan, reports Croatian Radio Zadar , according to the Patria News Agency.
Two young men and two girls set out in the afternoon in a rented inflatable boat off the island of Ugljan. At one point, lightning struck a part of the boat and injured the young men. All four were immediately transported by boat to Zadar and by ambulance to the Zadar hospital.
As there were no consequences for their health, the tourists were released from the hospital in good general condition during Saturday.
