Four conclusions from the extraordinary session of the FBiH Parliament dedicated to security

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The epilogue of the extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament dedicated to security in FBiH are four adopted conclusions.

The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH demands from the representatives of the international community in BiH, and primarily the OHR which has an executive mandate defined by the Dayton Peace Agreement, to immediately and without delay stop anti-Dayton activities on the adoption of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Police and Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, due to the deterioration of security and public unrest in BiH.

The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH demands from the competent state institutions an assessment of the security-political situation in the country after the adoption of the aforementioned law.

The House of Representatives calls on the Government of FBiH and recommends to cantonal governments, for the sake of the overall security environment in the Federation of BiH, to fill the active police staff in accordance with the regulations on internal systematization of police officers' jobs, as well as their adequate equipment.

If the activities on the adoption of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Police and Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska are not suspended or stopped, the Federation of BiH will undertake adequate measures to protect the security of all citizens.

As yesterday, the deputies of HDZ BiH did not appear for the vote today. HDZ also avoided voting on the resolution on the verdict of Radovan Karadžić yesterday.
