Reis-ul-ulema's Easter message: An opportunity to share a message of friendship and good neighbourly relations

(Patria) - Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein-ef. Kavazović today sent a congratulatory message to the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Monsignor Tomo Vukšić, on the occasion of Catholic Easter:

I extend my congratulations to you and all Catholics in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the Easter holiday, with the wish that you spend it in happiness, peace, and prosperity.

We live in a time when insecurity, greed, and selfishness are spreading throughout the world, as the main determinant of interpersonal relationships. Easter is an opportunity to share with you a message of sincere friendship and good neighbourly relations as a pledge for a better and more just world.

We Bosniaks, Muslims, together with you Catholics, as well as with our Orthodox neighbours, share the joy of your great holiday in our common homeland.

With prayers to Almighty God to help us preserve the blessings of freedom and peace, please accept the expressions of my deep respect – stated the Reis-ul-ulema's message.
