Čerkez: Fatal case in Bihać, Izetbegović confirmed another death in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Goran Čerkez, member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health, said at this evening's press conference that there are 3,030 tested individuals in FBiH, with 347 confirmed cases. In the last 24 hours, 384 samples were tested, of which 27 are new cases.

"During today, there was one fatal case, a citizen from the Bihać area with severe chronic illnesses, aged 80. So far in FBiH, we have 15 fatal cases, eight men and seven women. Eight were over 65 years old," said Čerkez.

A little later, Sebija Izetbegović, director of KCUS, confirmed a new death to the media.

He thanked all citizens who adhered to the measures today.

"It is very important that we continue with the same measures, especially considering that the restriction for those over 65 will be lifted tomorrow from 8 AM to 12 PM. I ask everyone who does not have to go out to refrain from doing so, as well as younger citizens not to go out. If they do not have major needs or can have their needs met through their neighbors, those over 65 should do so. Adhering to the measures would benefit us. We will monitor the measures and send all recommendations to the Federal Civil Protection Staff," said Čerkez.

He reiterated to the media's questions that the most vulnerable group is those over 65 years old.
