Čerkez: Allowing people over 65 to walk is not a professional recommendation

(Patria) - The Federal Civil Protection Staff yesterday amended the order regarding the movement of persons under 18 and over 65. Given that pension payments begin next week in the FBiH, persons over 65 will be allowed to leave their homes during a precisely defined time period and on specific days to collect their pensions.

"Allowing people over 65 to walk is not a professional recommendation, and therefore, to reduce the risks for this age group, we call on all other citizens to stay at home between 7 AM and 12 PM," said Goran Čerkez, Assistant Minister of Health and member of the Crisis Staff.

The Staff stated that they have allowed persons over 65 to collect their pensions next week, but they call on fellow citizens to adhere to personal protection measures and not to go out for the next five days between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, when movement is allowed for pensioners.
