Culture Center Prepares Projects for the Youngest

The Public Institution Center for Culture Sarajevo, with the support of the Centar Municipality, which is the founder of this institution, has implemented a number of projects in the fields of music, visual arts, literature, and stage movement in the previous period. According to Senad Bostandžić, director of the Public Institution Center for Culture, numerous different activities are planned for the upcoming period, primarily intended for the youngest residents of the Centar municipality, reports the Patria News Agency.

- A video production basics workshop is underway at the Youth Center in Gorica, which we are implementing in cooperation with the Academy of Performing Arts. The participants of this workshop have made a short film lasting one minute, and it will be presented in the next ten days. I hope this is the beginning of a successful cooperation between the Public Institution Center for Culture and the Academy of Performing Arts, said Bostandžić.

There is also a new multimedia project, an acting school, which, as Bostandžić pointed out, should tour and present its play "Pip's Secret Passage" in one of the cities in BiH by the end of the year.

- A competition for dance groups of high school students from the Centar municipality is also planned, as well as an exhibition of artworks by participants of the art school from the Youth Center who stayed in Počitelj at the beginning of June and who will present through this exhibition what they captured in this beautiful city, emphasized Bostandžić.

Among other things, a literary workshop, a singing school within which the recording of one composition is planned, the beginning of Children's Week, a literary caravan through elementary schools in Centar, visits to the Bosniak Institute, and the staging of the play "Titiz and Džomet" for elementary school students and kindergartens are planned at the Culture Center.

In the past period, an exhibition of children's drawings by participants of the art workshop was held near the memorial to the children killed in besieged Sarajevo. According to Bostandžić, this is an exhibition realized by the youngest participants of the art section with the help of the wards of the Bjelave Children's Home, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
