(Patria) - The President of the European Football House (UEFA), Aleksander Čeferin, commented on the chances of the BiH national team to qualify for the upcoming European Championship.
Čeferin said he would like BiH and North Macedonia to qualify for the EURO.
Our team can qualify for the Euro through the play-offs, which are scheduled for March next year, while North Macedonia has since lost its chances to qualify.
"I am glad that three national teams from the region are close to qualifying for the European Championship: Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia. I would like BiH and North Macedonia to qualify as well. BiH has the play-offs, but the way they are playing… In any case, I would like as many teams from the region as possible to qualify for the European Championship," said Čeferin.
The BiH national team will close their unsuccessful qualifiers tonight against Slovakia at Bilino polje.
