Cazin decides to return 50,000 KM if the adopted Decision of the FBiH Government does not undergo changes

(Patria) - Sharp reactions continue to arrive regarding the Decision of the FBiH Government on the method of distributing funds to municipalities, cities, and cantons to help combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The City of Cazin experienced the greatest humiliation in terms of population, receiving only 0.72 KM per capita from the FBiH Government. It is unacceptable for political and national criteria to be the basic and only criteria for the distribution of funds in such a situation.

On this occasion, after a series of reactions from the citizens of Cazin, Mayor Ogrešević also spoke out, stating that he could not establish the criteria by which the FBiH Government was guided when distributing these funds in any way.

"The disproportion in this decision is obvious, no matter which criterion we look at, from the number of inhabitants, the number of infected in this pandemic, to development. Cazin is not the only one dissatisfied, but we are literally humiliated by such a decision. If it does not undergo changes, based on clear criteria, Cazin will politely thank them for the funds and let them give those funds to those whom Fadil Novalić's Government, according to their criteria, considers worthy," said Mayor Ogrešević.
