Čavalić demands urgent session of the FBiH House of Representatives over FTV: Every minute is important!

(Patria) - The founder of RTVFBiH is the Parliament of FBiH. There are no excuses. Every minute of the blockade of Federal Television's broadcast costs - the subscription is not the only source of financial resources, but also TV advertising (especially for FTV), said the president of the Party for BiH Club in the FBiH House of Representatives, Admir Čavalić, and submitted a request for an urgent or extraordinary session of the House of Representatives.

"Today, the broadcast of the Federal Television - RTV FBiH program was temporarily disabled. It is possible that this will continue in the coming days. The founder of RTV FBiH is the Parliament of FBiH. Accordingly, it is precisely the Parliament of FBiH that bears the greatest responsibility regarding the work and functioning of this television. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to initiate the Parliament towards solving this problem - organizing an extraordinary or thematic session with the aim of considering and solving the existing problem. It is important to include the competent working bodies of the parliament as well.
Also, it is necessary for the Collegium to meet and react adequately," said Čavalić.

"The fact that employees at Federal Television were prevented from working today is particularly concerning. Bosnia and Herzegovina should have a stable and functional public RTV service, and that implies the uninterrupted functioning of RTVFBiH, BHRT and RTRS."
