Bugojno: Detergent poured into newly opened fountain by vandals

On Friday, September 18, the newly built modern fountain in the center of Bugojno was put into operation, but shortly thereafter it became a target for vandals, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Vandals poured detergent into the fountain, disrupting its operation. Mayor Hasan Ajkunić is also disappointed by this hooligan behavior.

- After this act, I ask myself: Who is bothered by the beauty of the city of Bugojno. An unknown person threw detergent into the fountain to cause a breakdown, to burn out the pumps, so that this beautiful place would not be functional. I believe that our fellow citizens and the public will condemn this act. We will continue to work and build to make our Bugojno even more beautiful in the interest of all of us, said Ajkunić.

Although the fountain is located in the immediate vicinity of the Bugojno Police Station, this did not deter the perpetrators from their intention to destroy the fountain.

Based on the available collected investigative information, the police are trying to identify and record the perpetrators of this act of vandalism.
