Water supply in Sarajevo Canton is gradually normalizing due to a drop in air temperature and a significant reduction in water consumption in all zones, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
A mobile team monitors the condition of reservoirs and water sources 24 hours a day and promptly informs the public, announced the Cantonal Public Utility Company "Water and Sewage".
From 12 PM to 3 PM, water supply will be reduced in the settlements of Sedrenik, Grdonj, Podhrastovi and Panjina kula, while in the majority of the Canton, daily water supply will be regular. In the mentioned settlements, only the higher parts of the settlements will not have water, but if the cooling and precipitation continue, a complete normalization of daily water supply throughout the Canton can be expected.
Night reductions are in effect from 11 PM in the evening to 6 AM in the morning across the entire Canton due to the continued weak inflow of water into reservoirs from all sources.
- We appeal to consumers to use water rationally and to settle their debts on time - it is stated on the Water and Sewage Company website.
