Numerous delegations pay tribute to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide

POTOČARI, (Patria) - After the commemoration for 33 victims of the Srebrenica genocide, the religious part of the program marking the 24th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide has begun.

Delegations that attended the commemoration paid tribute by visiting the Memorial Stone and laying lilies. First, the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović did so, followed by the US Ambassador Eric Nelson, SDA President Bakir Izetbegović, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić, Minister of Civil Affairs Adil Osmanović, NATO Staff General Sarajevo Marti Bissel, High Representative Valentin Inzko, as well as delegations from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Croatia, SDP President Nermin Nikšić and Political Director Damir Mašić, Head of the OSCE Mission Bruce Berton, Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Lars Gunnar Wigemark.

The Women in Black from Belgrade, who pay tribute and carry out remembrance actions in Belgrade every year, also bid farewell to the victims with a minute of silence.

The choir "Children of Srebrenica" performed the Srebrenica Inferno, after which the noon prayer, asr prayer, and funeral prayer were performed.
