SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Klas Director Boris Brković said today that Klas has sufficient wheat reserves and that citizens do not need to worry.
"Klas produces 400,000 kg of flour every day, packages it, and distributes it to stores across BiH. Demand has significantly increased, and that is the only reason why there is no flour on the shelves. It is necessary for citizens to show some form of solidarity among themselves and not to hoard. We have imposed a purchase limit on flour in our Bazar markets. Our bread is packaged in foil, hygienically sound, and thermally processed, and can last up to 30 days. There is no fear that our citizens will go hungry. We have additional quantities of wheat and other raw materials for our members," Brković said.
He stated that although an increase in wheat prices has been recorded, Klas will not raise the prices of its products and will maintain current prices as much as possible.
