(Patria) - British Ambassador to BiH Julian Reilly and Chief of Staff of the 6th Infantry Brigade of the BiH Armed Forces, Brigadier Anto Klajić, visited the Main Training Ground of the BiH Armed Forces at Manjača today to monitor the implementation of part of the joint training of the BiH Armed Forces and the United Kingdom being conducted at this location.
During the visit to the "Manjača" training ground, a briefing was held by the coordinator of the joint training, during which guests were informed about the dynamics of this year's joint training, which, in addition to training for peacekeeping operations, includes advanced tactical planning and leadership development.
During the visit, guests also had the opportunity to learn about the activities and tasks of the units participating in the relevant training, which allows military personnel from both countries to exchange experiences and work with each other, developing interoperability and operational compatibility with NATO.
On this occasion, Ambassador Reilly expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of another joint training.
- This joint training represents an upgrade to the long-term cooperation in developing defense capabilities between the United Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina, through which military personnel and units across the country will be able to progress through training, mentoring, and skill exchange.
Trainings like this directly support Bosnia and Herzegovina's ambitions to contribute to international peacekeeping operations. Together, we can help Bosnia and Herzegovina achieve these ambitions - Reilly said.
