Briton living in BiH has belongings transported via a 5,500-kilometer route

A Briton living in Bosnia and Herzegovina has hired the moving company “Focus Removals” to transport his belongings from the town of Hartlepool in the north of England, via a land route of more than 5,500 kilometers, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

According to local media, company owners Lee Caldwell and Peter Crowe decided to accept this job, stating it is the biggest contract of their careers. Next month, they will deliver furniture from a storage unit in North Wales to BiH. The client is Peter’s former colleague from the British Army who was stationed as a member of the international forces, but married a Bosnian woman and currently lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- When he heard about the business I started, he contacted me and asked me to move his belongings there. Although the journey is expensive and will take five days, I agreed to the contract because all these items have sentimental value for him. I was in Bosnia in 2006 and I look forward to visiting the country again – said Peter.
