(Patria) - The Assembly of Brčko District adopted the Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on New Names of Streets and Squares in Brčko District at today's session.
The decision relates to changing the names of three streets in the local community of Bijela to align with the names that have been in use by the local population for a longer period.
The Proposal for a Decision on the Names of Streets in the Settlements of Šatorovići, Potočari, Donja Skakava, and Boće was also unanimously adopted, which will result in a total of 112 streets receiving official names and house numbers.
The President of the Assembly of Brčko District, Damir Bulčević, emphasized that the priority is for all streets in the District to receive names and house numbers in order to regulate the address registry and prevent possible abuses through fictitious residency registrations.
