(Patria) - The Assembly and Main Board of the Serbian Democratic Party unanimously decided that Branko Blanuša, the current president of SDS, will be the candidate for the president of the BiH entity RS in the upcoming October elections.
"As the President of the Party, it is my honor and obligation to respect and implement the decisions of the highest organs of the Party. Everything else is speculation that time will best refute," Blanuša stated.
He was also a candidate in the early elections for the president of the RS, which Siniša Karan won. Blanuša won 213,512 votes, and Karan won 224,382 votes.
