Suspended benefits for veterans from Grude, Posušje, Široki Brijeg and Ljubuški will be paid out

Federal Minister for Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Liberation War Salko Bukvarević met today in Široki Brijeg, at the building of the Government of West Herzegovina Canton, with the cantonal Minister for Veterans Mladen Begić, Mayor of Široki Brijeg Miro Kraljević, and municipal mayors of Grude Ljubo Grizelj, Ljubuški Nevenko Barbarić, and Posušje Branko Bago, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The topics of the meeting were the implementation of the Decision on the cessation of the Decision on the temporary suspension of personal disability benefits for beneficiaries from the municipalities of Grude, Posušje, Široki Brijeg and Ljubuški, and the signing of an agreement on activities to be undertaken for its realization.

The agreement was accepted and subsequently signed, and all participants of the meeting undertook the obligations they need to fulfill in the coming period, it was announced from the Federal Ministry for Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Liberation War.

We remind you that during the revision by former acting minister Zukan Helez, about 1,500 beneficiaries were excluded from their rights, which will be changed by this Decision.

The Agreement signed today states that this Ministry will prepare the payment of suspended disability benefits for the period from 2014 to March 2015. Also, Minister Bukvarević will issue authorization for handling the seal and for the signature of the competent person in charge of records.
