Krupić Brothers Named Best Young Basketball Players in Western Canada

Kenan Krupić was born in November 1999 and his brother Emir in April three years later in Vancouver, Canada. Today, these young men, standing 194 and 182 centimetres tall, have been officially named the best young players in Western Canada in their age group, reports the Patria agency.

At last year's provincial championship, Kenan led his school team to the title, and this year Emir did the same with his team.

Their success is a combination of exceptional talent, fanatical perseverance, and hard training that has lasted more than seven years. Both Kenan and Emir Krupić have been in the Drive Basketball Academy programme, the best basketball academy in Western Canada, for four years. During that time, they have played many tournaments across North America. Last year, as a fifteen-year-old, Kenan received a full scholarship offer from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and made history as the youngest player ever to be offered this scholarship.

The dominance of the Krupić brothers in games is shown by the fact that both average 50 percent of their team's points, often scoring over 35 points per game. The story of the Krupić brothers, whose father is originally from Bosanska Dubica, continues, and their family — mother Melina, father Nihad, and brothers Adnan and Sanjin — are overjoyed as the surname Krupić echoes through Western Canadian arenas, reports Patria.
