Bosnalijek provided financial aid and medicine packages to its pensioners

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Continuing the tradition of awarding gifts to its former employees every year, Bosnalijek this time ensured the delivery of medicine packages to all its pensioners.
 
A total of 240 pensioners received a package at their addresses, and they were also paid a certain amount of money to provide them with additional assistance during this difficult period.
 
Bosnalijek General Manager Nedim Uzunović points out that, unfortunately, it was not possible to organize the traditional lunch and gathering with pensioners this time, due to the measures being taken to protect health from COVID-19, but also due to the fact that movement is prohibited for pensioners, as the most vulnerable population.
 
"These people have been building Bosnalijek for years and have invested hundreds of thousands of working hours to make us the largest domestic drug manufacturer. In these moments, when hundreds of Bosnalijek employees are working hard to fulfill our primary goal, which is the safe and stable supply of medical institutions and the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina with all our products, we decided to help our pensioners who are now, due to their age, most vulnerable to coronavirus. They deserve credit for building Bosnalijek with their work and laying the foundations, not only for the further development of the company but also so that our country, in these difficult times, when it comes to the production of essential medicines, has someone to rely on," said Uzunović.
 
With wishes for good health, we tell all our pensioners that as soon as conditions allow, we will again organize the traditional lunch and gathering, and we hope it will be as soon as possible.
