Bosnia and Herzegovina: Continuity of Destruction

Some things must be repeated – until they are overcome, until the condition that causes them to be verbally repeated is changed. A persistent and identical threat requires persistent and identical reactions. Thus, I have repeatedly stated publicly, among other things, that Bosnia is more than a state: Bosnia is a country, with all the content that this term carries – a thousand-year tradition, the ability to outlive the greatest empires, multiculturalism in harmony since time immemorial… All of this has grown endemically on the soil called Bosnia. Therefore, Bosnia today is also an idea for Europe, or it should be, although bureaucratic Europe mostly fails to see it.

However, this miraculously resilient country has been fatefully facing a threat to its existence in recent decades. The international aggression perpetrated against it in 1992 continues today, after a frozen conflict, but this aggression is now being carried out by other means. The main strategy today is torture until disintegration. If we do not forget that during the military aggression, leading European countries (Great Britain and France) were on the side of the aggressor – that is, at the moment when all three neighboring countries attacked it – why should we be surprised by the consistency of such international policy today. Moreover, the "situation on the ground" in BiH unequivocally testifies to this consistency. They only verbalize one thing but do something completely different in reality. Politics should be judged by actual action, not by verbalization. Let's look at the fundamental fragments of that reality.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions are paralyzed. For decades, members of the Presidency of BiH from the smaller entity have been publicly, declaratively, and actually working against the state in whose Presidency they are and where they receive high salaries. Such a moral and political perversion is unprecedented in the world. At the same time, we have a protector here who is obliged by his position to keep the institutions effective, but he does not do so. Then, key decisions/judgments of the Constitutional Court, as the pillar and symbol of any state, are not implemented, which means that lawlessness reigns here at the highest possible level. The protector does not use the powers he has and thus contributes decisively to destabilization. The so-called international community (which he represents) imposes some sanctions on the persistent destroyer of the constitutional order, but this barbarian in politics remains in a political position for decades, instead of the protector immediately removing him and banishing him from official politics. When judicial bodies decide that he should be arrested, no one decides to do so. The state is dying, forgive me. Moreover, this renegade then visits a military unit in the RS, inciting it to aggression. The paradox is total, perfected! The protector does not act, instead of seeking support from EUFOR to arrest this destroyer of Bosnia who indicates a state of general destruction, and thus validate the credibility of his own mission. Now we also have a rogue part of the Army of BiH, as well as a part of the police. Two pillars and symbols of any state are being divided! Who doesn't understand that the state is falling apart?! However, neither the protector nor EUFOR are acting in accordance with their mission. Therefore, the inevitable question, which is only rhetorical, is: Whom are they actually protecting?! In such a situation, it is impossible not to recall the fact – now widely known – that French soldiers were sent to BiH in '92 to protect Serbian aggression against a UN member, against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They "tailored" us in such a way that we are not capable of self-sustainability. They consciously made their monster helpless. Such a state is their project, created at a time when the Army was on the verge of liberating the country, but was stopped by threats of NATO. And today they are protecting the gains of aggression, and for that purpose, when needed, they hastily and barbarically change the election law to install their "installers".

Therefore, the strategy is torture until extinction and disintegration. True, the country of Bosnia has overcome many things in history and has survived because it is an idea, a nucleus of cosmopolitanism. However, now is the time when its patriots must be maximally cautious, optimally engaged, and must not just wait for what fate will bring them. The final outcome will still depend on them. Or on us.

Bosnian values must be fought for.
