Mladen Bosić, president of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS), does not want to comment on anything related to the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team. First, he says, because he is not a football fan, and second, whatever answer he gives, it will take on a political connotation.
When asked by a journalist from the Bosnian news agency Patria whether he will cheer for the Dragons at the World Cup, which begins in two days in Brazil, and how much their victory could affect the improvement of interpersonal relations in BiH, Bosić said he does not want to talk about it at all.
- Given the complicated situation in the country, I think the national team is not viewed in the way it should be. Whatever I say, it will take on a political connotation, either from Sarajevo or from Banja Luka – Bosić told Patria.
