Bosnian Jasmin Krajina named Coach of the Month, Omani media full of stories about him

FC Muscat Oman is currently competing in the AFC Cup and is top of the table after nine rounds, writes the Patria news agency. However, much more significant than this success is the fact that the goalkeeper coach and first assistant coach Jasmin Krajina has been awarded the title of Coach of the Month.

As Krajina pointed out to Patria, it is important to note that his results in working with Muscat's goalkeepers are felt every day, with a total of seven consecutive matches without conceding a goal, which has helped the team firmly hold first place.

- The management is delighted with my work and dedication, and the media covering this Omani league have honoured me with the title of Coach of the Month for November. Working conditions are excellent; we train hard and are focused on every upcoming match. The club management's ambitions are to enter the Professional League, which is much different and stronger, with aggressive play and teams heavily recruiting players from Europe – says Krajina.

The Omanis are thrilled with the work of the former FK Olimpic-Novi Grad coach, who is a very significant link in the FC Muscat Oman project.

- After a good run of results in working with the goalkeepers, the management offered me the position of first assistant coach, which I accepted with great enthusiasm. It concerns a goalkeeper who has gone through all the youth selections of the Oman national team and was a reserve to the famous Al-Habsi a few years ago. We worked dynamically before the start of the season, set common goals, and are going all the way towards them. Mohammed Howaidi is a promising goalkeeper with experience, and I told him that with this kind of work, he will return to the national team – added Krajina.

Incidentally, Krajina graduated and earned a master's degree from the Faculty of Sport and is a recipient of the university recognition "Golden Badge" for the best student of his generation.
